The villa is on the main bus route from which you can access all areas of the Costa del Sol.
The beach is a 10 min stroll away and is best accessed through the marina.
The famous Da Bruno Italian restaurant chain has two restaurants close to the villa (favoured by David & Victoria Beckham). There is also another outdoor restaurant in the nearby campsite, that serves the best pizzas we have ever had.
There is also a great Indian restaurant about a 4-minute walk from the villa called The Jaipur Palace. If you like Indian, you are going to love this one.
Across the road in the marina, about a 10-15 minute stroll away, there are many more bars and restaurants for you to choose from in an idyllic setting. There are Italian, Spanish, English and Indian, so you really are spoilt for choice.
There is also a supermarket located about a 10-15 min walk away and this is open 7 days a week.
At the bottom of our road about a 4/5 minute walk away is the main bus route that leads up and down the coast and you can get anywhere using this. The buses are air-conditioned, run approximately every 30 minutes and the drivers usually speak English. They are a great way to visit Marbella town centre and other nearby towns like Fuengirola, Mijas, Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Gibraltar and many more, for an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants etc.
The main hospital is about a 10 min ride and they speak perfect English and is the best-equipped hospital on the coast. (Our daughter was born there)
It would be about a 3km walk or bus ride to another small shopping area with banks, bars, restaurants etc and a fantastic English breakfast at Lucy's - above the Chinese shop.
The villa is a five or six-minute walk to the main bus stop. From here you can get anywhere on the coast and the air-conditioned buses run every 30 mins.
Puerto Banus is just over 20km away (about 20 mins)
There is also a person that will look after you during your stay and she can tell you where all the best places are to go to.
